If the number of coffee pods that end up in landfill makes your eyes water (almost 30,000 coffee pods go to landfill each month and take 500 years to decompose 🥺), you’ll want to try out the more sustainable Jules Beans.
For just 5 Gener8 points, you can try a free box of Jules Beans coffee pods ☕️. If their 10/10 coffee wasn’t enough, their pods are completely biodegradable. Once you’ve used them, you’ll just need to dig them into your garden soil and they should decompose into fertiliser within around a month! Your plants will be thriving and your conscience will be clean 🌱.
CRAFT GIN CLUB
If you fancy yourself a gin connoisseur or simply want to try something different, we’ve partnered with the Craft Gin Club to give you 60% off your first gin box.
The Craft Gin Club are a gin-based subscription, sending artisan craft gin straight to your door every month. Annually, their experts taste over 500 gins and pick the best 12 to share, some of which are exclusive to CGC, so you won’t find them in your local Tesco!
You’ll receive; a full-sized bottle of gin (of course) paired with tonics and garnish, as well as a recipe for the cocktail of the month and a 66-page glossy club magazine, so you can ramp up your gin knowledge 🍸.
FACIAL PALSY UK
Set up in 2012, Facial Palsy UK is a small UK charity supporting people affected by facial paralysis.
Facial palsy is a condition resulting from damage, absence or impairment of the facial nerve that supplies the muscles of facial function and expression. It can affect blinking, closing the eye for sleep, eating and drinking, speech, smiling and frowning. Facial palsy can be the result of multiple causes: disease, injury, stroke, birth trauma, cancer or neurological condition – to name but a few. Whatever the cause, the physical, emotional and psychological consequences are usually the same and equally devastating for those affected.
Facial Palsy UK’s mission is for every person in the UK affected by facial palsy to be given access to the best information, treatment and support available. You can help them provide this support by simply donating Gener8 points this month on rewards.
Founded in the UK in 1897, Blue Cross is a charity that provides veterinary care, offers expert behavioural help, and finds homes for pets in need 🐾.
Blue Cross aim to provide expert veterinary care, advice and education to help promote the welfare of pets and their human companions. Their focus is on animals that are in need because they are sick or have been abandoned, neglected, injured or abused. They also target all those who care for these animals, providing support when needed through pet bereavement counselling and a range of other services.
THE TRUSSELL TRUST
In the UK, more than 14 million people are living in poverty – including 4.5 million children which has only been exacerbated by the cost of living crisis.
The Trussell Trust is an NGO and charity that works to end the need for food banks in the UK by campaigning for long-term change to the structural issues that lock people into poverty. They support more than 1300 food banks across the UK to provide a minimum of three days of nutritionally balanced emergency food.
